Happy Easter!!

A few days ago, Emma looked at me and said, "mom, I don't think the Easter bunny is real". Thinking that she was probably figuring things out, and not wanting to pass up a chance to mess with her, I said, "you don't, well how do you think those baskets get in the house on Easter morning?" Her reply, "oh, I think it's a guy dressed in a bunny costume that brings it".

When I was at the grocery store this morning, it occurred to me that I hadn't had their pictures made with the Easter bunny and if I didn't this year, it would be the first ever since Emma was born. So... after waiting in line over an hour, we were the next in line and the bunny had to take a potty break.. Not too bad for waiting an hour and a half... Chloe went willingly.. I guess all of the amusement park characters have warmed her up nicely.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

Are you talking about the Kelly's Kids dresses? No, those didn't come in in time. The one Chloe is wearing was one that Adam's grandmother had made for Emma. Poor second kids get the hand me downs but I guess that's okay because Emma's is a hand me down from my friend Julie's little girl Anna. I've just got to figure out a way to even out Chloe's keepsake box. Emma's has all these handmade smocked things and Chloe's does not measure up. But that's a tangent from a second child.. Chloe is wearing the one that you got her today to church. The other one was too long for hunting eggs. Looking forward to seeing you this afternoon!

What an adorable picture! I don't think that our bunny was as popular. When we passed him in the mall, he looked really bored because no one was in line.

Papa wonders when she gets a girl easter bunny if she will suffer from cognative disonance. Anyway I mostly think any Easter Bunny would be lucky to have his/her picture made with such wonderful girls.
